Singer/songwriter Eric Roberson releases a new tune “Far Away Girl” from his upcoming February release “B-Sides, Features & Heartaches.”
Soulful crooner Eric Roberson delivers a smooth track about a distant lover who captured his heart on the spot.
“We met at the show, but she left with my attention/I’m not talking about your usual this girl was different/She could’ve took my heart and ran for a one night stand and I would’ve let her/But instead she said ‘you did a great job’ and just shook my hand.” Oh man, it sounds like Roberson has one on his hands.
Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Aaron Camper joins the track as the two vocalist serenade the tune with their melodic voices.
“I was blessed to be able to get to sing ‘Far Away Girl,’” says Aaron Camper in an interview posted on ericrobersonmusic.com. “It’s a great song, it’s a touching song and it’s a true story.”
The beautiful track serves as a follow-up to Roberson’s previous single “Anymore,” which touches on relationship issues as well. The new LP “B-Sides, Features & Heartaches” is set to be released Feb. 4.
