Bad boy of R&B August Alsina officially releases his video for his street anthem “Make it Home.”
Yesterday (Feb. 13) Alsina premiered his new music video for “Make it Home” on BET’s “106&Park.” Always staying in touch with his roots from New Orleans, the 21-year-old takes us through the harsh reality of the day-to-day journey of the hustle and bustle in the Louisiana streets. Creating an epic visual, the R&B rookie sets a story of the potential outcome that hustling can bring.
Alsina’s raw and inspirational video fulfilled the actuality of the song’s lyrics and takes fans on a visual journey. The Payne Lindsey-directed video features rapper Young Jeezy who knows a thing or two about the street life.
Alsina’s story for “Make it Home” serves as only partial of his “Testimony” debut album set to arrive April 15.
