Sultry and seductive soul R&B singer D’Angelo gives U.S. fans a surprising treat by releasing a 1996 Japan-only EP to his loyal fans in the states.

The successful Virginia native released his well-praised debut album “Brown Sugar” on Virgin Records in 1995. In that same year live from The Jazz Café in London, D’Angelo recorded a live full standout concert. The live set recording was only released in Japan in 1996, while U.S. fans had to wait four years later for some “brown sugar” from the crooner with his second studio album release, “Voodoo.”

This highly anticipated piece of music from the 40-year-old veteran has served as a musical jewel and collector’s item over the years. This is the star’s first full concert as a performing artist showcasing his undeniable talent. Hopefully, this serves as a precedent for more music to come from the missed “Lady” singer.

“Live at The Jazz Café, London: The Complete Show” will be released in stores and digital formats March 25. The updated 12-track EP is set to include five previously recorded tracks, original performances from the 1995 London show, three covers (Mandrill, Ohio Players, Smokey Robinson, Al Green), background vocals from Angie Stone and an exclusive 1995 interview with D’Angelo himself.  To satisfy your appetite until the release, take a look at the track list below.
