John Legend’s and Ledisi’s current singles both reached top 10 milestones on radio this week.
With a total of 2,375 radio spins, “All of Me” by R&B crooner John Legend made its entrance into the top ten of Urban radio (March 6 ) after bumping Sevyn Streeter’s hit single “It Won’t Stop” to No. 11. This accomplishment marks his first single of the “Love in the Future” era to enter the top ten.
The romantic ballad entered in the top 50 of Urban radio at No. 50 on November 29, totaling 315 radio spins. Along with entering into the top 10, “All of Me” has peaked higher than his album’s previously released Urban radio single “Who Do You Think We Are” which only reached No. 32.
Ledisi’s bubbly single “I Blame You,” off her upcoming album “The Truth,” breaks into the top ten of Urban Adult Contemporary radio. The Chucky Harmony-produced cut stormed into the Urban AC on October 6 at No. 48, totaling 71 radio spins. Since then, “I Blame You” has garnered nearly 1,110 total radio spins.
Her 2012 duet “Stay Together” featuring Jaheim, lifted from her album “Pieces of Me,” marked her last record to break grounds in the top 10 of that chart. In fact, the song peaked No. 3, after totaling 1,629 radio spins.
