Last fall, Timbaland announced his plans to work on a posthumous Michael Jackson album along with L.A. Reid. Now new music has surfaced — kinda.
Yesterday, Timbaland released a very short snippet of “Slave To The Rhythm” by the King Of Pop as part of his Timbaland Thursdays series. The 1-minute snippet mostly features an instrumental with only 20-seconds of vocals by MJ.
Last summer, an electronic dance music (EDM) version of the song that featured guest vocals from Justin Bieber surfaced online.

Timbaland dished on the Michael Jackson album in a previous interview with REVOLT and even mentioned its potential first single.
“To even go bigger would be two kings working together,” he said. “L.A. Reid came to my house. He’s like, ‘I got something big I wanna do…I could tell you the first single is gonna be the song ‘Chicago,’ but I’ma set it up right.”
