Rated Next Artist Shaliek is gearing up for the release of his debut album “Blood Sweat Tears,” due May 27.
Kicking off his promotional campaign for his big project, Shaliek gives fans a taste of what to expect from his album. The “Ain’t Supposed To Cry” crooner has shared snippets of the 12 tracks on “Blood Sweat Tears.”
Shaliek hopes to bring a “classic feel” to his first project. “I want this to be a project that people feel and connect with,” he said. “The plan was to deliver a timeless album, so throughout the process all I listened to were timeless albums like Anita Baker’s ‘Rapture,’ Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller,’ and all of Luther Vandross’ albums.”
