R&B singers will be flocking to Baltimore this summer for the 2014 African American Festival.
During a press conference at City Hall, Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake confirmed that R&B veteran Brandy and Mint Condition will co-headline the free festival, which will be held from June 21-22.
On Saturday, June 21, performers will include R&B diva Monifah, Chico DeBarge, Jacob Latimore and Mint Condition. Sunday’s performers will include Brandy, Johnny Gill and Deitrick Haddon.
More performers will be announced as the annual event gets closer.
Last year, music legend Patti Labelle and R&B powerhouse Fantasia headlined the African American Festival. Other performers included K. Michelle, Luke James, Raheem DeVaughn and RaVaughn, among others.
