With the release of his debut album “Testimony” two days ago (April 15), August Alsina also unleashed his visual for his new track “Get Ya Money.”
August Alsina has been keeping the attention span of many as of lately. He continues to keep his buzz on high premiering an enticing video on BET’s 106 & Park this past Tuesday for his Fabolous-assisted track “Get Ya Money.” The reflective track salutes female exotic dancers who get their money by any means necessary to make ends meet.
“‘I ain’t judging you, go and get ya money, baby I salute, go and get ya money,” chants Alsina.
Alsina clearly admires the ambition of women in this profession and can relate to their hustling motives. The Payne Lindsey-directed video showcases the day-in-the-life of one of these women as she shamelessly puts on her poker face getting ready for the task at hand transforming into her exotic alter ego. Fab of course adds his two cents cosigning with Alsina suggesting that female exotic dancers are strong women who are pure go getters.
