In February, the world was shocked to learn that Robin Thicke and his wife Paula Patton were separating after being married for eight years. However, the “Lost Without You” singer doesn’t plan to be lost for much longer.
According to reports, Thicke has penned a song to his estranged wife and is set to perform it at this Sunday’s Billboard Music Awards.
The song “Get Her Back” is the title of Thicke’s plea to get back the love he once experienced with Paula. According to TMZ, the lyrics recite, “All I wanna do is make it right” and “I gotta get her, go get her back / I gotta treat her right / I gotta cherish her for life.”
Hopefully, his sweet gesture will play on Paula’s heartstrings and all will be well again in the Thicke household.
In addition to Thicke’s performance, John Legend and Ariana Grande, among others will hit the MGM Grand Garden Arena stage, this Sunday on ABC at 8 p.m. EST.
