Earlier this month, the BET network shared a list of performers that featured a few R&B artists who will grace the 2014 BET Awards stage. With only nine days left until the show, the network unveils an additional list of R&B stars who will showcase their new music and talents to the world.
John Legend, Jhené Aiko and August Alsina represent the newly added singers to perform at the this year’s show. Earlier this week, the network named Robin Thicke as another entertainer to sing at the 14th annual award show. He will serenade the audience and his estranged wife, Paula Patton, with his new single off his seventh studio album “Paula.”
Usher, Pharrell Williams, Trey Songz, Jennifer Hudson, and Adrian Marcel were among the first performers announced. In addition, Lionel Richie, who will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award, will perform his hits as well.
Hosted by Chris Rock, the 2014 BET Awards will air live on Sunday, June 29 from the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live at 8pm EST.
