Rising artist HillaryJane makes her entrance into the R&B music realm with her new track “Chimneys” from her debut EP “Stix and Stones.”
HillaryJane is a Houston native trying to make her mark in the music industry. Hoping to garner some buzz, the 20-year-old infiltrates her 808XEliTE-produced track “Chimneys” into the music atmosphere. The song dismisses liars along with the lies that are pushed by society. She metaphorically compares the lies that utter effortlessly from a habitual liar’s lips to smoke from a winter time chimney.
“Call it what you want/ Call it what you will/ But you’re only blowing smoke like a chimney when you’re lying to me,” croons the singer.
The track, which spills a bit over three minutes, displays HillaryJane’s unique tone and crossover talent. She not only delivers pure vocals on the record, she also throws in a few bars or two.
HillaryJane’s “Stix and Stones” EP will release July 29 via Infiltrate Music. You can expect the project to promote subject matter that encourages self-confidence and happiness that is not based on materialism.
