Usher’s new single “Good Kisser” has been receiving a lukewarm response on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. After debuting at No. 70, the Pop & Oak produced song has only managed to move backwards in its four weeks on the chart (No. 72). Now, the striking R&B gentlemen looks to change the single’s Hot 100 chart position with the enrollment of Rick Ross for the remix.
As the “bang bang bang” tune keeps the sultry smooth vocals of the “Lil’ Freak” crooner, it now features an unnecessary and off topic rap verse from MMG’s head chief who brags on his funds being “as old as Clive Davis.” However, it’s uncertain how Ross’ vocals will shot the single up the charts but only time will tell.
Last week, “Good Kisser” made its entrance into the top ten of the urban radio chart. Usher is set to perform at the 2014 BET Awards on Sunday, June 29 at 8 p.m. EST. Who knows? He may invite Ross on stage to perform the remix.
