The nominations for the 2014 American Music Awards are in and Pharrell Williams and John Legend lead the pack with five nominations including Artist of the Year. Beyoncé stands close behind with three nominations including Favorite Female Artist – Soul/R&B.
Other soul/R&B acts to be nominated include Sam Smith, Jhené Aiko, Chris Brown and Mary J. Blige.
The 2014 American Music Awards will be held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. on Sunday, November 23 at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
