Grammy Award winning artist John Legend has always been known for giving back to the community. His most recent effort is with TheRealReal.com, a high-end online retailer, to sell over 150 luxury items on consignment.
From Louis Vuitton X Kanye West sneakers to a velvet Valentino blazer, the lavish apparel and footwear will available for sale this week on the website. The proceeds from the items sold will benefit Legend’s foundation Show Me Campaign, which aims to end educational inequality by spreading awareness about the issue and inspiring citizens to fight for every American child’s right to a quality public education. “It’s about how we can do our part to help break the cycle of poverty and we focus on education as the key tool for doing that,” said Legend.
The unique sale started Tuesday, November 17 and will end on Tuesday, November 25.
