Lyfe Jennings embarks on a new album era with the release of his new single “Pretty Is.”
On the snappy, piano-driven track, Jennings sings the tale of an erotic dancer who doesn’t rely on her looks to showcase the beauty of her heart. “Pretty is what pretty does / You’ll always be pretty because you’ll fall but get up / Pretty is what pretty does / You’ll always be pretty because you’re still full of love.”
Lucid, Lyfe Jennings’ 2013 release, debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. The album’s lead single “Boomerang” peaked at No. 11 on the Billboard Adult R&B Songs chart.
