After winning Best Pop Solo Performance for “Happy,” Pharrell Williams performed the track in from of his industry peers at the 57th Grammy Awards on Sunday night.
Joined by Lang Lang and Hans Zimmer, the Virginia Beach native put a theatrical spin on his hit single “Happy” from his G I R L album. During the verses of “Happy,” Williams slowed down the song’s original speed for a more dramatic execution. Then, he sped up the tempo once returning to the song’s chorus.

Williams won several gramophone’s at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards including Best Urban Contemporary Album for G I R L.
