Christina Milian is focusing her energy on her music again. Shortly after the season finale of her reality show, Christina Milian Turned Up on Sunday (Mar. 1), the “Dip It Low” singer released the first offering from her Young Money debut album.
Titled “Rebel,” the ’90’s-influenced record finds Milian declaring to her lover that it’s him and her against the world.
While on the red-carpet for the Focus premiere, Milian revealed the message behind her new single. “It’s just about a real situation,” she told Hip Hollywood. It’s just about chemistry with someone and not really caring what anyone has to say.”
The Jersey native’s forthcoming album is set to feature production help from Polow Da Don, She’kspere, Detail and others.
