It’s been a minute since we’ve heard new music from Avant. However, he’s ready to reclaim his throne. The R&B veteran has announced his forthcoming album The 8th will arrive this fall.
The Cleveland native shared details about his eighth studio album on his social media account earlier this month. He states The 8th will drop in September.
Ahead of the album release, the lead single will impact airwaves in May. “Real music is still alive,” posted Avant on his Facebook account.
The 8th will serve as the follow-up to Avant’s 2013 release Face The Music. The album spawned the chart-topping single “You & I” featuring KeKe Wyatt.
