BET appears to be revamping its network with new original programming and has selected popular singers Kelly Rowland and Brandy to help. The two R&B divas have landed upcoming shows on the television station.
After serving as a judge on X-Factor, Rowland will bring her expertise to a new reality singing competition show called Chasing Destiny. The show is designed as a “multi-platform search” for aspiring hopefuls to get their chance at fame while being vocally critiqued by the former Destiny’s Child member.

Meanwhile, Brandy will exercise her acting chops in a new sitcom called Zoe Moon. According to BET, the comedy series is about “a newly divorced single mom embarking on her new life and career as a fledgling cosmetics mogul — but it won’t be easy. Her ex-husband is not ready to take a back seat in her life, nor is her precocious 10 year-old son ready for her new dating life.”
There are no official premiere dates for Chasing Destiny or Zoe Moon.
