Singer-songwriter Verse Simmonds teams with Jeremih for his latest single, “All I Want.” The smooth and seductive cut samples DJ Casper’s “Cha Cha Slide.”
“All I want to do is see you take it to the floor / All I want to do is see you drop it down low,” Simmonds sings on the hook.
“When I heard the track, I asked Jeremih to come by the studio that I was working at in L.A. at the time and he pulled up on me and laid his verse on it,” Simmonds tells Billboard. “That’s usually how our sessions go, very random. One of us just calls the other and if we’re ever in the same area we just pull up and get it in!”
