Vivian Green has unveiled the artwork for her upcoming album, VIVID, due in stores on August 7. Photographed by Derek Blanks, Green strikes a mean pose with a colorful background.
VIVID will include Green’s current single “Get Right Back to My Baby,” which has peaked at No. 14 on urban adult contemporary radio.
In addition to unveiling the artwork, Green also released the first episode of her Studio Stories series. In the five-minute clip, Green and her producer Kwame dish on their process of creating “Get Right Back to My Baby.”
“When Kwame first played the ‘Get Right Back to My Baby’ track, I wasn’t feeling it because I did not think that it was me and I just couldn’t hear myself on it,” says Green. “There was a lot of back and forth.”
