R&B fans are in for a big treat this fall! With Janet Jackson, K. Michelle, and Syleena Johnson scheduled to hit the road on their respective tours, Raheem DeVaughn and Leela James announce their Love N’ Soul Experience tour.
The 25-city tour will kick off on Oct. 7 in Charleston, SC. From there, the vocal beasts will travel to other major cities across the U.S. including Atlanta, Washington, D.C., Baltimore, New York and New Orleans, before wrapping up on Nov. 13 in Los Angeles.
Throughout the tour, DeVaughn and his non-profit organization, The LoveLife Foundation, will be hosting their national “Queen for a Day” campaign against domestic violence.
“Art is culture. Culture is Art. I invite you to bear witness to the live performance that will feature a decade of music that I have created. #TheLove&SoulExperienceIsComingFall2015,” says DeVaughn, who released his No. 1 album in February called Love, Sex & Passion .
“Creating music that taps into the heart of people is what I live for. Soul music connects, affirms, and lifts people out of their seats. I’m proud to be a part of it,” says James, who released Fall for You last year.
Rising singer V. Bozeman, from FOX’s hit show Empire, will serve as the special guest. She is gearing up to release her debut album, Music is My Boyfriend, very soon.
