Legendary R&B group Hi-Five brings back their soulful sound with their new single “Sunshine,” which is sure to leave their fans with a warm sense of connection with this popular group. Not only is it produced by Andre Ramseur and written by Hi-Five member, Faruq Evans, its dedication holds more than most might assume.
“This song is about my love for my daughter,” says Evans. “I never thought I’d have a lil girl, but when she was born she stole my heart. She’s the air I breathe. My sunshine!”
There’s no denying that the track definitely fills the listener with a sense of how much this special little girl means to Faruq Evans.
“Sunshine” is available on iTunes and all other digital retailers now and is scheduled to appear on High-Five’s new album. The album is scheduled to release in early 2016, adding a much-needed R&B flavor to the top of the upcoming New Year.
