BJ The Chicago Kid gets comfortable in his latest video, “Turnin Me Up.” The video, shot with a grainy effect, finds BJ and his band in the studio recording the vintage-flavored tune. BJ spends most of the time lying on a leather couch with a cup to his side singing the song. Meanwhile, his band has a jam session while using things like a Heineken bottle as an instrument.
“Turnin Me Up” will appear on BJ’s forthcoming debut album, In My Mind, which hits stores Feb. 19. The album will consist of 16 tracks with features from Kendrick Lamar, Chance The Rapper, Big K.R.I.T., Isabella and others.
