Tweet is reminding everyone why she’s nicknamed the Southern Hummingbird in her new video “Magic.” This comes only less than two weeks after the singer-songwriter gifted fans with the sultry single on her birthday.
Taking a simplistic approach, director Leo Marshall captures the soul of Tweet by featuring close-ups of her face, legs, and shoulder as she sings. Ensuring that focus remains solely on the songstress, the only extra in the video is a vintage armchair; which gives the impression that she’s daydreaming about the one who’s enchanted her heart.
“Magic” follows the R&B veteran’s “Won’t Hurt Me” that was released mid-September. Both singles will appear on her upcoming album Charlene, which hits stores Feb. 26.
