Singer Jhene Aiko and rapper Big Sean have joined forces to create a duo called Twenty88, which was inspired by their birthdays. The two artists revealed the exciting news via social media by sharing the artwork for their self-titled album.
In addition to the artwork, Twenty88 also released to video teasers. In the first teaser, both artists are wearing a fur coat as they sit in the back of a luxury vehicle. The second clip captures an intimate moment with Aiko and a mystery man.
According to a press release, the album “tells the story of the highs and lows of a relationship, with insights into conflict, memories, love, sex, and more and features production from Key Wane, Detail, and Tommy Brown.”
The album will be available exclusively on Tidal for 72 hours before releasing worldwide on April 1 at 12:01 a.m. The duo will make their television debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday.
Aiko and Sean previously collaborated together on “Beware” and “I Know.”
