PJ Morton is paying tribute to his home New Orleans with his new mixtape Bounce & Soul: Volume 1. The project includes remixed versions of his best songs with the New Orleans bounce sound. Morton’s mixtape features appearances from Mannie Fresh, Lil Wayne, Stevie Wonder, Trombone Shorty and more.
In between the bounce remixes, Morton includes interludes that discuss various topics including New Orleans, Big Freedia, and his decision to sign with Lil Wayne’s Young Money label.
