Trey Songz lends his voice to the soundtrack of HBO’s original series, Vinyl. The Virginia native adds his touch to the late David Bowie’s classic track “Life on Mars?”
Randall Poster, the show’s music supervisor, says he had Songz in mind once they knew the song would be used.
“It somehow, in a simple way, had to transcend the ordinary,” Poster told The Wall Street Journal. “We wanted to do a soulful take and I love Trey’s voice.”
