R&B newcomer Bernard Flowers has released his debut single titled “This Feeling.” The Memphis native pours his heart over the mid-tempo track as he expresses his feelings for a woman.
“I wanna be a better man for you / Forever is the plan for you / It don’t even really matter where you been ’cause I’m trying to go far with you,” he sings on the catchy tune.
Flowers recently filmed a video in Atlanta for “This Feeling,” along with an introductory documentary-style interview to accompany it.
As a teen, music naturally became an outlet for Flowers. He started experimenting with rapping and singing at 13, when his sister’s boyfriend brought him to a local studio.
“He knew I had talent, but I never really cared about it,” says Flowers. “My whole life people was like, ‘You can rap, you can sing, you need to come to the studio.”
