After leaving Atlantic Records, singer/model Justine Skye inks a record deal with Jay Z’s Roc Nation. The 20-year-old spoke with WWD on her new move, as well as her upcoming project.
“I just recently got signed to Roc Nation, which is huge because it’s always been a dream of mine,” Skye told WWD. “Jay Z is from Brooklyn and I’m from Brooklyn so this is the perfect place for me to be.”
The “I’m Yours” singer also revealed that she is working on her new project with The-Dream and Tricky Stewart. “They have a lot of history together. To me, they’re like The Dream Team when it comes to music,” said Skye.
Last year, Skye released an EP called Emotionally Unavailable and went on a supporting tour.
