Nashville-based artist Vann’s new single “Backseat” will have you leaving the bedroom to take a joyride. The Flash-produced single is reminiscent of the 90s with its sample of 2 Live Krew’s 1990 classic “Face Down, Ass Up.”
“I want you to have my babies/ In the back of this Mercedes/ While we both doing 180/ I wanna make your body quiver/ Make this a night to remember/ Get you wetter than a river,” Vann sings.
“I actually wrote the song for Chris Brown, but I never heard back from his team,” Vann told HotNewHipHop.com. “I played it for a couple of my industry peers and everybody was like that’s the one, you need to drop that asap. So, I re-recorded the track and had it professionally mixed & mastered. And here we are…”
Vann’s “Backseat” will make you question every time you sat in the back of your friend’s car. On the bright side, at least it was dry.
