In preparation for the upcoming movie Ben Hur, Andra Day shares the video for “The Only Way Out,” lifted from the movie’s soundtrack.
Directed by Myriam Santos, the visual features an elegant, graceful Day singing in a white room, set in between scenes from the film. The song fits right along the themes of the story of Ben Hur, as Day soulfully croons about perseverance and mercy.
Day has been making plenty of strides this year, from receiving a Grammy nod for her powerful single “Rise Up” to making a musical appearance at the Democratic National Convention.
Ben Hur the movie, along with the soundtrack, is set for an August 19 release.
