Nola Adé is all about showing people that love is something that is needed in life, and does it best in her new EP The Love Dance.
This has been a year of progress for the Nigerian-American singer, recently having the privilege of headlining the Budweiser Stage at one of Chicago’s many music festivals, Taste of Chicago. It is only right that Adé cap off the year with a brand new EP for fans to listen to.
Adé has strong feelings for love. “Cliché or not, love is something that we all need to function,” the singer says.
“It’s something that we all are looking for. It’s something that we as people are lacking enough of because we’re afraid to talk about how much we need it. And the songs I wrote in The Love Dance EP aren’t just about the part of love that feels good, but the parts of love that can hurt too.”
Coming in at seven tracks, no two songs sound the same and range from very jazzy, upbeat records to slower and more somber tones. Overall, the main theme of the project is to experience the different parts of love.
The Love Dance is currently available on all digital platforms such as Apple Music, Soundcloud and Google Play.
