Rising singer Maryland Lavon has released a visual for her intoxicating single “#FMEWHENURMAD.” Directed by Hayden Hoyl, the dark and steamy video features Lavon getting intimate with her lover.
“My inspiration for the video was taken from BDSM elements,” Lavon tells Rated R&B. “#FMEWHENURMAD” is a very submissive and sexy song and I wanted to make sure I capture those elements hence the whips and chain and me being on a leash. I also love the idea of the siren from Greek mythology. The beautiful creature who serenades its prey to kill. I had to mix both of those visions to and that’s where we got the video to come together. Releasing the visual on Halloween was the perfect way to release this dark sexual fantasy.”
“#FMEWHENURMAD” is lifted from Lavon’s EP, The Pretty Villain, which is out now. Stay tuned for more music from Lavon.
