Charlie Wilson will kick off 2017 with a new album and accompanying tour.

The R&B legend announced today that his eighth studio album, In It To Win It, will arrive on February 17. The first single is titled “Chills” and is expected to release soon. In It To Win It will include guest features from Snoop Dogg, Pitbull, Robin Thicke, Wiz Khalifa and T.I.

“The new album represents some of the best music Charlie has recorded in his career thus far,” said Michael Paran, Wilson’s manager and CEO of P Music Group.” He has a very diverse fan base and there is something on this album for everyone.”

Wilson will kick off his tour on February 8 in Norfolk, VA. The tour will feature special guests Fantasia, Johnny Gill and Solero.

“I am excited about being on the road with my friends Grammy Award winner, Fantasia, and four-time Grammy Award nominee Johnny Gill,” Wilson said in a press release.  “As usual, folks should come prepared for a party.  I am looking forward to performing my new single, ‘Chills’ together with some music from my new album and my classic hits.”

Wilson’s new album is the follow-up to his 2015 LP, Forever Charlie, which was nominated for Best R&B album at the 58th Annual Grammy Awards.
