With her debut album Girl Disrupted set to arrive next month, Sevyn Streeter premieres a new track called “Before I Do.”
On the guitar-driven ballad, Streeter sings about her desire to be with a man but wants to make sure he’s not holding on to his last relationship.
“I wanna let go, but I don’t really know / I heard you got a girlfriend / Say it ain’t so, you ain’t on the low / I don’t think I could handle it / I wanna go, to another level, with you,” she sings.
“Before I Do” was co-written by Streeter, Micha Powell and Felisha King (former member of R&B group Cherish).
Girl Disrupted will hit stores on Jan. 27, 2017.
