It’s been nearly three years since Luke James released his self-titled debut album. Since then, the New Orleans native has shared a few songs including “Bad News,” “Pearls (Sade Cover)” and his Sevyn Streeter collaboration “Nothing Even Matters (Lauryn Hill and D’Angelo cover).”
Following his role as Johnny Gill in BET’s hit biopic mini series The New Edition Story, James is refocusing his attention to his music. It appears that it may be coming soon, after James tweeted the title of his sophomore album. “My album title: JOY,” James wrote on Twitter.
No other details about the project have been announced at this time.
