R&B legend Johnny Gill has another hit on his hands. His Jaheim-assisted single “5000 Miles” has reached the Top 5 on urban adult contemporary radio at no. 3.
The song is lifted from Gill’s latest album, Game Changer, which released in 2014. The album also produced three other Top 5 singles including the title track, “Behind Closed Doors” and “This One’s for Me and You (feat. New Edition).” The latter song was a number one hit on urban AC radio.
With all the success from the singles on Game Changer, it’s no surprise why Gill and his team are still pushing the album. In this day and age, promotional campaigns don’t last very long for albums.
