August Alsina is back with new music. The R&B star has released his new single titled “Don’t Matter.” The slow-burning tune can easily be played in the bedroom.
“I be knocking down ya walls every time you make that call / You be changing all ya plans / Got you calling me ya man,” he sings.
Although Alsina released a few other songs this year — “Drugs,” “Wait” and “Lonely” — he says “Don’t Matter” is his first actual single in a long time.
Alsina recently opened up to actress Jada Pinkett-Smith about his health issues. In an interview with Smith, Alsina revealed he is fighting liver disease. He posted a clip from the interview on his Instagram page.
“I have a liver disease where my autoimmune system is fighting itself. The reality is that I’m sick all the time,” he said. “I don’t really like to talk about it because I’m not looking for anybody’s sympathy. Don’t treat me like I’m a fucking cancer patient, because I’m not.”
