TLC has released a visual for their new single “Way Back” featuring Snoop Dogg, the lead track from their forthcoming self-titled album. In the video, T-Boz and Chilli throw an epic house party that’s filled with lots of dancing.
“We go way back / Like James Brown and Michael J / Like them high school parties / Some things don’t ever change / Yeah, you and me, we go way back,” TLC sings on the nostalgic, feel-good record.
Although the video was released only two days ago, it has already received over 1 million views on YouTube.
“Way Back” is the first single off TLC’s fifth and final album, which is set to release on June 30.
TLC’s fifth studio album will follow 2002’s 3D, which was released nearly seven months after member Lisa “Left Eye” Lopez died in a car accident. The album debuted at no. 6 on the Billboard 200 with 143,000 copies sold in the first week.
