Fifth Harmony Performs ‘Down’ on ‘The Tonight Show’

Fifth Harmony is back on the promo run for their new single “Down.” The quartet stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to perform their latest track.

With the help of rockin’ band, stunning threads, and a rap feature from the always icy Gucci Mane, the burgeoning pop group simply delivered.

In the introduction of their performance, host Jimmy Fallon shared exclusive details about the group’s third studio album. “Their new album is self-titled. That’s right: it is called Fifth Harmony and it is out August 25th,” Fallon announced.

“Down” is the first single from the upcoming album and currently sits at No. 74 on the Billboard Hot 100. Check out the performance below.

Khalid and Normani Perform ‘Love Lies’ on ‘The Tonight Show’

Khalid and Normani visited The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday night to perform their hit “Love Lies” on television for the first time.

Supported by a live band, Khalid brought his laidback vibes while Normani stormed the stage with sexy dance moves. Similar to their “Love Lies” music video, the rising singers created a luxury hotel atmosphere on stage for their beautiful duet.

This week, Normani announced her new deal with Keep Cool/RCA Records. “I’m so incredibly grateful to be able to be in a place where I can explore myself as an artist and what I’m capable of,” she said. “Never in a million years did I think I would be in this position in 2018. Everyone has been so supportive and patient; thank you so much to my fans for giving me the opportunity.”

“Love Lies,” from the Love Simon soundtrack, was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on April 4. The duet has over 136 million streams on Spotify and its official video has nearly 30 million views on YouTube.

Daniel Caesar and H.E.R. Perform ‘Best Part’ on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’

R&B newbies Daniel Caesar and H.E.R. stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday night to perform their dreamy duet “Best Part” off Caesar’s debut album, Freudian.

Donning a white oversized jumpsuit, H.E.R. took command of the crowd with her lush vocals as the Caesar played an acoustic guitar and harmonized with the mysterious singer.

Following the late-night performance, H.E.R. went to social media to thank Caesar and Jimmy Kimmel. “My debut TV performance was a beautiful moment. Lucky to have shared the stage with my friend and one of my FAVORITE artists @DanielCaesar. Thank you @JimmyKimmelLive,” she shared.

Currently, H.E.R. has her focus on her untitled debut album, which is expected to arrive later this year. Her latest single “Focus” just entered Billboard’s Hot 100 at No. 100. Meanwhile, Caesar teamed up with Jessie Reyez for a new version of her popular single “Figures” last month.

Childish Gambino Performs ‘Terrified’ at 2018 Grammys

After winning Best Traditional R&B Performance for “Redbone” at the 60th Grammy Awards on Sunday night, Childish Gambino graced the stage to perform “Terrified.”

Dressed in an all-white outfit,  he was joined by young star JD McCrary, who lends guest vocals on the record. Both songs are lifted from his Grammy-nominated album Awaken, My Love. 

In other news, Glover recently inked a deal with RCA Records that will allow him to release music through a partnership with his creative agency, Wolf + Rothstein.
