Legendary R&B group 112 is ready to make an official comeback. The “Hot & Wet” singers will release their first album in over 12 years this fall. Group member Daron Jones announced the exciting news in an Instagram post.
“Onset of our new album packaging photo shoot with my brothers Q (@qparker112) Mike (@michaelkeithof112) Slim (@officialslim_) for our brand new #112 album that will be out this Fall,” he wrote.
Jones also assured fans that the group’s new album is well worth the wait. “We know that our loyal supporters have been asking for this moment for over 12 years… we apologize for the delay, but just know that this album will be worth the wait,” he wrote. “We literally poured our heart & soul into this project!
Given the fact that 112 is working on the packaging for their new album, we expect a new single to be released very soon.
The quartet’s new album will follow 2005’s Pain & Pleasure, which included their hit single “U Already Know.” The song peaked at No. 32 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
