Justine Skye Teams with /Nyden for Clothing Collection

The fashion world is calling Justine Skye. The Brooklyn starlet joins forces with /Nyden to co-create a clothing collection that will launch this fall.

The non-traditional fashion brand is giving Skye the green light to design a line of 15 distinct pieces to her liking. Creative Director of /Nyden Stina Force is excited about Skye incorporating her eye-catching style and artistic vision with their brand.

“Justine’s minimalistic yet extremely colorful personality makes her a perfect tribe leader for /Nyden,” said Force. “It has been so much fun working with Justine and watching her channel one of her many talents – fashion design – into creating playful yet striking clothes for her current and future fans.”

Skye is equally as excited about the partnership with /Nyden. “As an artist, I understand the importance of self-expression. What we wear says a lot about who we are and I’m very excited to team up with /Nyden to design clothing that help people communicate their strength and independence to the world,” said Skye. “/Nyden and I are on the same wavelength. Working together, updating classic styles to be ultra-modern and feminine for the young women of today. This collaboration allows me to be authentic and true to who I am, a creator.”

Skye isn’t new to the fashion industry. She was announced as a brand ambassador for True Religion and PrettyLittleThing last year. She also sported striking outfits on her Ultraviolet Tour to support her debut album under the same name earlier this spring.

Halle shared what inspired them to pen “Warrior” for the Disney film in the April issue of NYLON magazine. “We watched the trailer for A Wrinkle in Time, the word that stood out to us was ‘warrior’ And we kind of just wrote a love letter to ourselves as young girls and what we want to be, and it came out to be ‘Warrior,’” said Halle.

Chloe x Halle are also nominated for Best Group at the 2018 BET Awards. Their critically-acclaimed debut album The Kids Are Alright is still receiving rave reviews.

Hosted by Tiffany Haddish, the MTV Movie & TV Awards will air on Monday, June 18 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT from the Barker Hangar in Los Angeles.
