It’s been a while since we’ve last heard from Emanny but the New York native — who recently relocated to Los Angeles — is back with a new single titled “Aaliyah.” The mid-tempo track, lifted from his upcoming project Songs About HER 3, was written by Kennif Klark and produced by DecemberMoon & BJR.
Arriving just in time for Valentine’s Day, the passionate track celebrates women who stand out from the rest. The song also pages homage to the late Aaliyah.
“You’re one in a million like Aaliyah, Aaliyah, Aaliyah / Ain’t too many women that I speak this highly of,” he sings.
“All my past projects dealt mainly in the pain, deception and trials being in love brought to the table. This time around I want to highlife the better side of love. It’s very reflective of where I am now in my current relationship”, Emanny said.
Songs About HER 3 is slated to release this March.
