Childish Gambino Announces Tour with Rae Sremmurd

Childish Gamino is gearing up to take over 2018. The “Redbone” singer has announced his fall tour with special guests Rae Sremmurd.

The North American tour will kick off on September 6 in Atlanta and will hit major cities including Washington, D.C., Chicago, Philadelphia and Los Angeles, before wrapping up on September 30 in Vancouver.

Tickets go on sale Friday, March 9 at noon local time. American Express card holders can purchase beginning on March 6 at noon up until March 8 at 10 p.m. local time.

Gambino recently signed a deal with RCA Records and is working on his fourth and final album. The project, which is still in the works, will follow his Grammy-nominated album Awaken, My Love!

Beyoncé and JAY-Z Release Joint Album ‘Everything Is Love’

Beyoncé and JAY-Z surprise fans with the release of their highly anticipated joint album, Everything is Love. The nine-track offering includes guest appearances from Pharrell Williams (“Nice”) and Migos (“Apeshit”).

The powerful couple is currently on the European leg of their On The Run II Tour. The North American leg will kick off on July 25 in Cleaveland, with stops in Philadelphia, Boston, Atlanta, Detroit and Los Angeles.

Miguel, Daniel Caesar and SiR to Perform at 2018 BET Awards

R&B music will be well-represented at this year’s BET Awards. Daniel Caesar, Miguel and SiR have been added to the lineup of artists scheduled to perform at the 18th annual award show.

As previously announced, Janelle Monae, Ella Mai and H.E.R. will bring perform material from their new and forthcoming releases.

Along with announcing more performers, the BET Networks has selected Chloe x Halle, Bobby Brown, Trevor Jackson and Jacob Latimore to present awards to winners.

The 2018 BET Awards nominations were revealed last month with Rihanna and SZA among the top nominees. Bruno Mars, Bryson Tiller and Chris Brown each landed three nominations.

The 2018 BET Awards, hosted by Jamie Foxx,  will air live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, June 24 at 8 p.m. ET.

Ella Mai Announces ‘The Boo’d Up Tour’

Ella Mai invites fans to be “Boo’d Up” with her on the road this summer. The R&B newbie has shared dates for her upcoming tour, which will kick off on August 6 in Dallas.

Mai will travel to major cities across North America including Atlanta, Brooklyn, Toronto and Las Vega before she wraps up in Seattle, Washington on August 28. Mai is still working on which cities to perform at on August 22 and 24.

The tour announcement comes after her summer anthem “Boo’Up” reached an all-new peak (No. 6) on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart and topped the urban radio chart. “NUMBER 6 ON THE HOT 100, NUMBER 1 AT URBAN RADIO 🎉 can’t wait to see you all and celebrate my favourite way possible,” she shared.
