It’s album time! Chloe x Halle have announced that their debut album The Kids Are Alright will be released on March 23.
The duo, which consists of sisters Chloe and Halle Bailey, announced their new album via social media on Wednesday. The album features writing credits from Tayla Parx, Kari Faux, and Wynter Gordon. Also featured on the album will be their Wrinkle in Time soundtrack contribution “Warrior,” and previously released singles “Drop” and “Fall” from their 2016 EP Sugar Symphony.
The darling duo signed to Beyoncé’s Parkwood Entertainment in 2013, and have stayed in the public eye thanks to gigs at SXSW, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and opening act spots on Andra Day’s Cheers to the Fall Tour and the European leg of the Formation World Tour.
Chloe x Halle have also been consistent with their television and movie contributions. In addition to their newest Wrinkle in Time track, they’ve also supplied the theme song for Freeform’s grown-ish (which they also star in) and “Bougie Party” for the first season of Netflix’s Dear White People.
