Jill Scott Announces ‘Live in the Moment’ Summer Tour Dates

Jill Scott is ready to live in the moment. The R&B powerhouse has announced summer dates for her Live in the Moment tour, which will begin on June 21 in Minneapolis.

Scott will make her rounds to other major U.S. cities including Chicago, Toronto, Charlotte, Atlanta, and Baltimore. She will end the 13-city tour in Cincinnati at the Cincinnati Music Festival on July 28.

Scott shared what it means going out on tour this time around. “Hitting the road, being vulnerable and sharing my music with fans is the most fulfilling part of being an artist,” she said in a press release. “I look forward to giving love, light and living in the moment with everyone this summer.”

Last fall, Scott was cast to play a villain in an upcoming series, Black Lightning, which will premiere on The CW in mid-season 2018.

We hope this Scott’s upcoming Live in the Moment tour will inspire her to release a new album. Her last release, Woman, was released back in 2015. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, becoming her first out of five albums to do so.
