Teyana Taylor’s much-anticipated second album has finally received an official release date.
While sharing project release dates on Twitter (April. 19), G.O.O.D. Music president Kanye West revealed that Taylor’s sophomore album is set to arrive on June 22.

West updated fans with the Harlem native’s album release date doesn’t come as a surprise since he is executive producing the untitled project. Taylor told Oyster Magazine in January, “The album is actually done, just waiting on some minor tweaks and whatever last minute switches or edits and a green light from Kanye and should be good to go.”
Following her G.O.O.D. Music boss sharing the exciting news, Taylor posted a hurricane emoji to probably symbolize she’s coming to take us by storm with this new era and music. Speaking of music, we haven’t heard a buzz track or lead single yet. Hopefully, this album receives a more solid promotional roll out than 2014’s VII.
