After wooing his fans with “Gentleman,” Gallant returns with another bop titled “Doesn’t Matter.”
Over a bouncy production, created by John Ryan and Julian Bunetta, Gallant sings about making the most of a relationship that’s on the rocks. “If this love’s an accident waiting to happen, let’s go out with a bang,” he sings.
The DMV native also released an accompanying visual for “Doesn’t Matter,” which was directed by Sasha Samsonova. The expressive video is packed with symbolism from the use of colors to animals.
Gallant is expected to release his untitled sophomore album this year on Mind of A Genius/Warner Bros. Records. This fall, he will launch his Too Good To Be Tour with special guests Cautious Clay and Jamila Woods. The three artists will travel across North America, making stops in Atlanta, Philadelphia, Toronto, Chicago and Los Angeles. Tickets go on sale Friday, May 11 at 10 a.m. local time.
