Gallant Shares New Single ‘Doesn’t Matter’

After wooing his fans with “Gentleman,” Gallant returns with another bop titled “Doesn’t Matter.”

Over a bouncy production, created by John Ryan and Julian Bunetta, Gallant sings about making the most of a relationship that’s on the rocks. “If this love’s an accident waiting to happen, let’s go out with a bang,” he sings.

The DMV native also released an accompanying visual for “Doesn’t Matter,” which was directed by Sasha Samsonova. The expressive video is packed with symbolism from the use of colors to animals.

Gallant is expected to release his untitled sophomore album this year on Mind of A Genius/Warner Bros. Records. This fall, he will launch his Too Good To Be Tour with special guests Cautious Clay and Jamila Woods. The three artists will travel across North America, making stops in Atlanta, Philadelphia, Toronto, Chicago and Los Angeles. Tickets go on sale Friday, May 11 at 10 a.m. local time.

Stream Part Two of Jessie J’s ‘R.O.S.E’ Album (Obsessions)

Jessie J serves up Obsessions, the second installment of her four-part album R.O.S.E.

Similar to her Realisations offering, the fresh set consists of four tracks. The standout track for this DJ Camper-produced installment is “Petty,” which finds the singer calling out the obsessive behavior of internet trolls who stay in her comment section.

Jessie J has more new music on the way. She will release the final two R.O.S.E installments: Sex (May 24) and Empowerment (May 25) later this week.

Tone Stith Experiences Trust Issues on New Song ‘Long Run’

Tone Stith keeps his Tone Tuesday series going with a fresh track titled “Long Run.”

Backed by an acoustic guitar, the raw tune finds Tone feeling insecure after his girlfriend fails to answer or return his phone call.

“One of two things, that cross my mind / You must be sleeping or running wild,” he sings. “If It’s what I think it is, go have your fun / If you did what I think you did, I hope it was worth it.”

Stith dropped a new song titled “Lonely” last week. He joins the Uncle Drew soundtrack on “Light Flex” featuring 2 Chainz. The full soundtrack can be heard on June 15.

Jessie J has released Realisations, the first installment of her four-part album, R.O.S.E.

Composed of four tracks, the DJ Camper-produced project finds the British singer in the best music headspace. The opening track “Oh Lord” will leave you breathless while “Dopamine” will have you stuck in your feelings. In other words: so far, so good Jessie J and DJ Camper.

Speaking on the R.O.S.E album, Jessie J says, “The songs on R.O.S.E. are simply me singing my diary in a melody. I am so grateful and happy that anyone who has been waiting for this record in full will finally have it.”

Jessie J recently premiered an empowering video for “Queen,” which will appear on the new album. Obsessions, the second installment, will be released on tomorrow (May 23). Fans can hear Sex (May 24) and Empowerment (May 25) later this week.
