LeToya Luckett is expecting her first child. The former Destiny’s Child member posted an Instagram video of her stepdaughter Madison announcing the exciting news by singing the “K-I-S-S-I-N-G” song.
“Hi, my name is Madison Walker and I know something you don’t know! I think I’ll give you a hint. I’m going to sing you a song,” Madison said. “Daddy and Ms. Toya sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G. First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the baby!”
According to Essence, Luckett and her husband Tommicus Walker will do a gender reveal on July 4 via a fireworks show. There is no word on how far along Luckett is in her pregnancy.
“We are over the moon and overjoyed by this news,” Luckett said in a statement. “We feel so blessed that God has gifted us with the gift of life. We will be revealing the gender on the fourth of July. This is a straight up blessing, just a blessing. So keep us in your prayers. It doesn’t matter if it’s a girl or boy. We just wanted to have a healthy baby.”
Luckett and Walker tied the knot in December 2017. In May 2017, Luckett released her third studio album, Back 2 Life.
